...about your telecourse, teleweb, or UM online course.

Registration for the 2008 fall semester will start April 7th and will continue until August 22nd.

Fees for 2008-2009 in-state undergraduate tuition are $864 per 3 credit hour course, and out-of-state undergraduate tuition is $2,316 per 3 credit hour course. Go to eBursar for more information.

Have you enrolled in a telecourse, teleweb, or UM online course? If so, please read over the following steps to get prepared for class.

1. Be sure your University of Memphis e-mail account is active well before the semester starts. If your account is not active, go to the University of Memphis homepage at www.memphis.edu and click on the "Spectrum" link or call 901-678-8888 for assistance.

2. Order your books through the University of Memphis Bookstore or Tiger Bookstore. Students are responsible for having their textbooks by their first assignment. Failure to obtain your book on time is not an acceptable excuse for missed assignments.

Online Course Management Software

The University of Memphis utilizes "eCourseware" for telecourse, teleweb, and UM online courses.  We strongly recommend all online students review our Getting Started Checklist before the start of the semester.

Once class starts on Saturday, August 23rd, go to ecourseware.memphis.edu to enter your user name and password and log-in to your course.

If you have technical difficulties accessing your course (logging in, timing out, using your course tools) call the Help Desk at 901-687-8888 or go to  the Helpdesk to submit a service request.

Instructions on how to enter your user ID and password for UM eCourseware:

eCourseware ID:

Your eCourseware ID is the first part of your university email address.

Example: If your email address is jsmith2@memphis.edu  Your UUID will be jsmith2

eCourseware password:

Your password will be the same as your UM email password.

*** Users may login directly to eCourseware or login via the portal and take advantage of single sign-on for numerous UM authenticated online services.
